My Wi-Fi isn’t connecting, and I got a code 52 error on my network adapter. Any ideas?

I have an x570 elite Wi-Fi motherboard that has been functioning perfectly up until today when I turned on my PC and it wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi. In the device manager, one of my network adapters is showing a code 52 error. I attempted disabling and uninstalling it, but the error persists. I've also disconnected and reconnected the antenna without any success. I heard that I might need to manually install the drivers again, but I can't do that without internet access. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can actually download the drivers on your phone, then transfer them to your PC to install. It could also be that your adapter has failed, so keep that in mind.

There are several things you could try; it sounds like your issue might be related to driver security enforcement. Check out some solutions online, like this one: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/3719245/windows-10-error-52-on-wifi-adapter.

I attempted to disable the driver signature enforcement, but ended up with a blue screen, so it seems like it didn't work.
