I'm having serious lag issues on my Windows 11 PC, even when performing basic tasks like browsing and coding in VSCode. I'm not gaming at the moment, yet everything takes 3-4 seconds to respond after I click something, and performance in-game is awful with heavy stuttering. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
- GPU: EVGA RTX 3060
- RAM: 16GB
- SSD: 128 GB
- HDD: 1 TB
- Paging file: 48GB on HDD
- Cooler: Thermaltake 240R AIO
- PSU: 650W Thermaltake Bronze Certified
- Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar Max
- OS: Debloated version of Windows 11
Despite having plenty of memory available, the lag persists. Anyone have any suggestions on what I might do to fix this?

Is your SSD almost full? It tends to slow down when storage space is limited. Also, check your CPU usage when the lag happens—is it spiking? Lastly, did you upgrade from Windows 10 or do a fresh install?
Have you checked for overheating? It might be causing the performance dips. Try using HWinfo to monitor your temperatures and see if they're too high during use.

It's a fresh install, and I still have about 60GB free on the SSD. CPU usage stays pretty low, around 10-12% when I'm just doing basic tasks.
