My Windows Laptop Won’t Turn On – What Can I Do?

I have a Windows laptop that just won't turn on, and I'm not sure what the issue is. I checked the charging cord, so I don't think the laptop is dead. When I press and hold the power button, the caps lock and charging lights blink for a moment but then go off. Any suggestions on what I could try to get it working? I'd really appreciate any help!

It might be that your laptop isn't charging properly or that the battery is completely drained. Try letting it charge for about an hour and then see if it turns on again.

If your laptop is an older model, it might need a functioning battery to power on. Try doing a hard reset: disconnect the charger, remove the battery (if it’s removable), hold down the power button for a minute, then plug in the charger again and see if it starts.

I'm not very tech-savvy, so I looked up some videos on how to open the bottom panel, but I'm still having trouble figuring it out. Could this be a virus issue? I have antivirus software, but I'm worried it might have missed something.
