I'm having trouble converting my new SSD to GPT format so that I can install Linux on it. I'm using the SSD with an enclosure, but every time I try to make the conversion, it fails. Additionally, I can't create a bootable USB drive with tools like Rufus or Balena Etcher because my pendrive isn't being detected at all. I've tried every method I found on YouTube and even suggestions from AI, but nothing seems to work. I'm really in need of assistance here!

The easiest way is to boot from a USB, then format the drive using an application like Gnome Disks. It simplifies the process a lot.
Make sure to unmount the drive before making any changes, and try using GParted. It’s quite intuitive! That should allow you to convert it to GPT successfully.
If Windows 11 isn’t recognizing the drive, it might not be connected properly. Ensure everything is set up correctly, and double-check that the SSD is fully detected in your device manager. Also, feel free to share more details about what you encounter! I’m here to help.
