I'm finding it pretty challenging to locate logs in MacOS, especially compared to how it's done in Windows. For instance, I can't figure out how to enable and view the logging for the MacOS firewall, or where to find app logs and networking logs like I'm used to. Is there a guide or cheat sheet that someone could share to help me out?

Also, can someone tell me where exactly in Windows you find these 'network logs'? Seems like a vague term to me.
Honestly, it's not as complicated as it seems. If you dedicate just 15 minutes to learning about MacOS logging, you'll find it much easier. Just give it a shot!
You can start with the Console app. It’s the go-to place for accessing logs on Mac. You might need to adjust your approach a bit since Mac logs are unified and use predicates, which takes some getting used to, but it’s definitely worth learning a bit about it!
You can find network logs in the Event Viewer. It's not as straightforward as you'd think!
