I'm looking for some advice on a CPU cooler for my Lenovo Ideacentre Gaming PC that has a Ryzen 7 5700G and an AM4P19ME2 motherboard. I'm not sure if I can use Intel-type CPU coolers, as my motherboard has square screw holes which is quite odd. I'm considering AMD's Wraith series but I'm wondering if they will even fit. Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like your motherboard might have mounting hardware meant for Intel CPUs, which complicates matters. Just keep in mind, there's no guarantee that any aftermarket cooler will fit with your current setup. It might be a project to make it work!
You could definitely try measuring the hole spacing on your motherboard using a Vernier caliper to see which coolers might align. If you're thinking about the Intel Laminar RM1, its circular base could potentially fit your AMD Ryzen 7, but keep in mind it was designed for LGA CPUs. It might be better than your current stock cooler, which I agree is not great at all!
I have a caliper, so I’ll give that a shot. I'm just hoping the Laminar RM1 can actually provide decent cooling since I’m not aiming for the best, just something better than this stock cooler!
