I'm building my first PC with a 7800X3D processor and a 5070 Ti graphics card, and I'm uncertain about the cooling requirements. I've seen some older suggestions recommending the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE, but I'm curious if that will be sufficient for my setup. Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I’d recommend the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB. I've been using it with my system, and it's been great. Even with heavy loads from games like Cyberpunk, I've only seen temperatures hit about 61°C, usually staying around 54-55°C. It should serve you well for both your current and future builds!

When picking a CPU cooler, you usually don’t need to worry about your GPU unless your case has specific size constraints. A solid dual-tower cooler from Thermalright should do the trick without issues.

I wouldn't stress too much about the GPU when choosing your cooler. The Phantom Spirit 120 SE is a good option. Just make sure your case has enough clearance for your setup. Also, keep an eye on your PSU choice; I’d suggest looking at the Montech Century II if you want something reliable.
