I'm gearing up to build my second PC after nearly five years since my first. I've done some research, but I'm not fully up to speed on the latest components or how they work together. My previous setup was a Ryzen 9 3950X with a 2070 Super and 32GB of RAM. For my new build, I'm considering a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, a Corsair liquid cooler, and various other parts. I've put together a list, but I'm hoping to get some advice or pointers on whether these components are compatible or if I should swap anything out. Here's the link to my PCPartPicker list for reference.

You should definitely consider cutting costs on some of those parts. You’re paying a premium just for the brand names like Asus and Corsair. I found a better part list that could save you some cash without compromising on quality. Check out the suggestions I linked below; you can get a solid build for a much lower price!

Thanks for the tips! I'm a bit limited in my knowledge, so I stuck with brands I'm comfortable with. Are there specific alternative brands or parts you’d suggest?
