I live in a really dusty area in Brazil where my street is made of dirt, and dirt seems to be flowing into my house all the time. It gets everywhere! Because of this, my PC collects dust like crazy, to the point where I have to clean it out completely every month. Unfortunately, I've broken two RAM sticks this year due to the dust build-up, and I really don't want to waste any more money. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can keep my PC cleaner or prevent dust from getting inside?

It sounds like you're having a tough time with all that dust! I'm not sure how cleaning itself is breaking your RAM, but I recommend checking that you're not removing any components while cleaning—just take off the side panel. Additionally, using compressed air might be better for dusting it off instead of wiping it down.
I've been in a similar situation. Monthly cleaning is tough, but if you keep the computer case closed and use compressed air for maintenance, that might help limit how much dirt gets in. Just be careful with the RAM and avoid touching it while cleaning.
Honestly, I’d be more worried about your health too! An air purifier and a good vacuum with a HEPA filter would really help with the dust in your home. For your PC, make sure to cover its intake fans with cut-to-fit air filters to keep more dust from getting in.
You should definitely look into some mesh dust filters for your PC's intake fans. They can help a lot with keeping dust out. Also, consider not placing your PC directly on the floor; raising it up a bit could reduce the amount of dirt it collects.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try using some filters and raise the PC up a little.
