Need Advice on My PC Build and Fan Setup

I'm working on my first major PC build and I'm excited about going for a BTF (bottom-to-front) cooling setup because I love the clean look of having fewer visible wires. To maximize airflow, I've added around eight extra fans: 2 for exhaust and 6 for intake, with my AIO cooler also functioning as an exhaust. However, I'm running low on USB ports on my motherboard due to all these fans. Should I consider reducing the number of fans? I heard that Lian Li includes a fan controller when you buy a 3-pack, which supposedly lets you connect multiple fans to a single port. Is that true? I'm somewhat familiar with PC building but still feel a bit lost with this configuration. I recently had to switch motherboards for better support of the extra fans, moving from a Gigabyte board to an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero. Any tips or advice on how to manage my fan setup efficiently would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, the fan controller that comes with those Lian Li packs can indeed manage up to 16 fans! So, you can connect several fans to one controller and save on USB ports. Just make sure your motherboard supports that setup too.

Thanks for confirming! That definitely eases my worries about the USB headers.

If you're having compatibility issues with the USB ports, you might want to consider switching to a different motherboard that has more USB headers or look into USB expansion cards. But honestly, using that fan controller is a solid option if you're set on the Lian Li fans!
