Need Feedback on My First PC Build

I'm getting ready to build my first PC next month and I've done quite a bit of research on the parts. Here's what I've settled on so far:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE 66.17 CFM
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **Memory**: Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME
- **Video Card**: XFX Swift OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB
- **Case**: Lian Li Lancool 207 ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM650e (2025) 650 W Fully Modular

I already bought the GPU while it was on sale, and I'm planning to use the PC mainly for gaming. I would love to hear from anyone with experience - is this build solid? What changes would you recommend to improve it? Any tips would really help me out!

Looks great for a first build! If possible, I’d recommend considering swapping the CPU for a 7700X instead of sticking with the 9600X for a bit more performance. Also, make sure your power supply is beefy enough for any future expansions! You've got solid parts, so you should have a great gaming experience.

Honestly, this build looks pretty solid for a first-time PC! One thing to consider is the CPU; the 9600X is good, but the 7600X is very similar in performance yet a bit cheaper. If you're looking to save some cash for upgrades, that might be a smart move. Also, the power supply could be a little higher wattage for future upgrades - maybe go for a 750W unit instead of the 650W? Overall, great choices on the motherboard and RAM, too!

Thanks for the input! I was actually weighing the 7600X against the 9600X, but opted for the 9600X due to the slight edge in performance. I’ll look into a higher wattage power supply as you suggested!

Your build seems really well thought-out! I would just suggest upgrading the SSD to something a bit faster if your budget allows it. And just a heads up, the RX 9060 XT is a powerhouse, so you've got a great GPU there! You definitely won’t regret having 2TB of storage, especially for all your games. Nice job overall!
