Need Help: Are My New GPU and CPU Compatible?

I'm not very knowledgeable about PCs, so I need some help figuring out whether my new graphics card and processor will work together and with my existing components. Here's what I currently have:

- Intel Xeon V4 2630
- 16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
- 360 GB SSD PNY 2.5"
- 550W power supply
- Xigmatek case
- GTX 1660 Super

I'm looking to upgrade to an MSI GeForce RTX 5060 and an Intel Xeon E5-2680V4 processor (2.4 GHz, 35 MB). Can anyone tell me if these parts are compatible? Thanks!

Unfortunately, those two Xeon processors use different sockets, so the E5-2680V4 isn't compatible with your current setup. The v1 and v2 Xeons have different electrical connections than the v3 and v4. You would need to look for a compatible processor that fits your existing motherboard, which currently supports the V4.

Thanks for the info! Could you suggest a processor that would work well with the RTX 5060 and my other components? I'm hoping to keep it under $180.
