Need Help Balancing My 1440p Gaming and Streaming PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a gaming PC that's mainly for 1440p gaming, streaming with OBS and overlays, and doing some video editing with DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop. I've got most of my components picked out, but I'm really questioning my choice of GPU and my overall budget since it's getting a bit out of hand. Here's what I've got so far: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi, 32GB DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz CL30, Seasonic GX-850 80 Plus Gold PSU, Lian Li O11 Vision case, WD Black SN850X 4TB Gen 4 SSD, and an AOC Q27G3XMN (QHD 180Hz, FALD) monitor. I'm also torn between whether to go with an AIO cooler or a more standard option like the Noctua NH-D15S.

I chose the motherboard and RAM to have a solid foundation for future upgrades, but I'm still open to changes if it'll help balance out my budget. Right now, I'm really unsure about the GPU. I was thinking of getting the RTX 5070 Ti, but it's pretty pricey and the performance difference from the 4070 Ti doesn't seem worth it at the moment. I want something that'll be capable of high FPS at 1440p for years to come, especially for streaming and editing, but I don't want to overspend just for the sake of a new generation card.

Do you think the 9800X3D would be wasted on a 4070 or even a 4060 Ti? Should I consider downgrading the CPU for a better GPU? Any advice on balancing my build without going crazy would be really appreciated!

On top of that, I'm struggling with the look of my build. I originally wanted a full white build with RGB, but that's proving to be complicated and expensive. I'm also finding that if I go for a more minimalistic or practical design, parts like the Noctua coolers might not match. Does anyone have suggestions for styles that balance looks with functionality? Right now, I'm just a bit lost and would love any insight you can share.

Choosing the right components can be tricky! I think if you can't afford a top-tier GPU like the 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT, you might not need to go for the 9800X3D. A Ryzen 7 9700X could be a great mid-range option that pairs well with more affordable GPUs. Plus, the 5070 Ti is around 20% faster on average at 1440p compared to the 4070 Ti, so it’s definitely not margin. It's also good to keep in mind that 4070 and 4060 Ti might not give you the high FPS you want at 1440p. Check out some build guides for balancing your components too!

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! That makes a lot of sense. I used to think of those mid-range GPUs as just temporary options, but I'm shifting my view on that for a more solid build. I’m leaning towards the 5070 Ti now since it seems to be the best fit for the long run.
