Hey everyone! I'm pretty lost when it comes to graphics cards and their pros and cons. I'm looking for a PC setup primarily for playing the latest AAA games with decent graphics and frame rates, along with some strategy and indie games. I've come across a few budget-friendly options like the RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Can anyone break down which of these would be best for what I'm looking for and share their advantages and disadvantages in simple terms? Thanks a lot!

If you're looking at cards over $300, it's generally recommended to have at least 12 GB of VRAM. So, I'd say skip the 4060 and 5060. The 16 GB RX 9060 XT is way faster than the Intel B570 and B580, but only go with Intel if it’s a lot cheaper.
As others mentioned, definitely consider the RX 9060 XT. The naming helps you understand the card's generation and performance. For gaming, I would suggest AMD over Nvidia for better value. Just remember, the resolution and frame rates you want are the most critical factors when making your choice.
The RX 9060 XT is definitely the best bang for your buck right now. It'll handle any game at 1080p and 1440p really well, making it a solid choice for your needs. Just opt for the 16 GB version since it has the best performance.
Awesome, thanks for the clarification!
Just make sure you get the 16 GB version for the best experience!
What resolution are you planning to play at? If you want the cheapest option, just let us know that first. But if you have some flexibility in budget, go for the better cards.
1080p would suffice for me personally. 🙂
Ah, this is extremely helpful! It’s surprisingly hard to find the basics of GPUs online without getting lost in jargon. Thanks a ton! 1080p is enough for me too.
