Need Help Choosing a CPU for My New Gaming PC Build

I'm putting together a new gaming PC and have already picked out a few components: a ROG Hyperion G701 case, an NZXT Kraken Elite 360 black cooler, an Asus Thor 1200w 80+ Platinum PSU, and an RTX 5090 FE GPU. I'm currently stuck on choosing the CPU. Should I go with the Intel Core i9 14900ks or the Ryzen 9 9950x3D? Depending on which CPU I choose, I'll also buy the corresponding motherboard. The RAM I plan to use is Patriot Memory Viper Venom DDR5 32GB (2 x 16GB) at 7200MHz. I'm considering either the MSI MAG Z890 Tomahawk for Intel or the MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk for AMD. Any advice would be appreciated!

Between the two CPUs, I'd say the Ryzen 9 9950x3D is better for gaming. It's especially great for titles like GTA and Cyberpunk.

What about the Intel Core? Isn't it stronger overall?
