Hey everyone! I've been using an Intel Core i7-11700F at 2.50GHz for a couple of years now, but I'm starting to run into some issues like blue screens and game crashes. I'm wondering if switching to an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X would be a better option for me, especially since I'm on a budget and don't know much about CPUs. Are there any other recommendations you have? Thanks for any help!

Switching to an AMD CPU would require you to also change your motherboard, RAM, and potentially your CPU cooler and power supply. So be prepared for that extra cost if you decide to go that route! You might want to consider sticking with Intel instead since you're familiar with it.
Oh, I didn't realize that! Would upgrading to an Intel Core i5-14600K be a good step up from what I have now?
