I recently built a new PC with the following specs: a Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE motherboard, AMD 9700X CPU, 64GB DDR5 RAM, a SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus for the OS, and two extra PCIe NVMe WD drives. Since the start, I've faced freezing issues and AMD timeouts, which I initially blamed on AMD. However, after trying to update my BIOS, which is still on version F3, things went downhill. I can't even access the BIOS now! I've tried everything from clearing the CMOS to various methods of entering the BIOS, but my PC often hangs on the DRAM or boot LED. After reaching out to Gigabyte, they suggested that my motherboard needs to be technically checked, implying a potential replacement.
Now, I'm looking to swap out the motherboard for something more reliable and user-friendly, but I find the process overwhelming with so many technical specifications to consider. I'm leaning towards three alternatives: the MSI MPG B850 Edge TI WiFi, MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi, and ASUS ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi. They are all around the same price, within 20-30 euros of each other. Also, I'd like to keep my build aesthetic with a white theme. Any insights or recommendations on which motherboard would suit my setup best? Thanks a lot!

I'd say go for the MSI MPG B850 Edge TI. It's solid in terms of features and should handle your setup well without any issues. Plus, it looks great!
If you don't mind about the specific features too much, you could always pick based on color. But just keep in mind the technical differences might impact performance, especially with lane sharing. If you're planning to upgrade to PCIe 5 in the next couple of years, that could make a big difference!
Yeah, I'm really considering those technical aspects. It would be frustrating to invest in a great setup and then find out the motherboard limits my performance later.
