I'm building a new PC and have almost everything figured out, but I'm uncertain about which GPU and motherboard to go for. I'm considering the ASUS TUF models for the motherboard, but I'd love to hear about other options as well. Also, I know the 5080 isn't exactly the best value out there, but I'm intrigued because it seems to outperform the 5070 Ti by about 20% when overclocked. I'm hoping to get some recommendations on specific models of both the 5080 and 5070 Ti before making my decision. I already have my RAM, power supply, case, SSD, and CPU sorted out, so I just need your thoughts and suggestions!

If you're concerned about reliability, the 9070XT is less risky in terms of power, but the 5070 Ti is solid too. Just make sure whatever you choose, you have adequate cooling and power supply!
Honestly, the 5080 is about 15% faster than the 5070 Ti, but you probably won't notice a big difference in everyday gaming. Both can handle the latest games just fine, and they have the same VRAM as well. If you want a reliable motherboard, any B850 should work well. Just keep an eye on manufacturer issues; I've heard ASRock has had some compatibility problems with x3d CPUs, but a Gigabyte board has worked fine for me!
