Hey folks! I've just started diving into Linux with Fedora 42 on my old laptop. I'm excited to install it on my main PC, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with choosing a new distro. I'm particularly interested in trying out KDE and possibly getting into some customization or 'ricing'. Any suggestions?

For old hardware, CachyOS is a fantastic option. It’s optimized for legacy systems and comes with modern features to keep things snappy. Might be just what you need!

Just curious, what specifically are you looking to do? More details about your current setup and hardware would help narrow it down. But honestly, if you just want to try different stuff, pick one and have fun with KDE on it!

If you liked Fedora KDE, that's a solid choice. It's user-friendly and has great support for gaming, media, and office work. I highly recommend sticking with that for a good experience!

There’s nothing wrong with Fedora, but if you’re itching to experiment, why not try live environments? You could load different ISOs on a USB with Ventoy and see which ones you vibe with. Apart from Fedora KDE, Kubuntu, Nobara, and EndeavorOS are also worth checking out!

If you're wondering what to do next, just install Fedora KDE. It's modern, easy to learn, and super customizable! I use it for everything, including gaming and media.
