I'm looking to buy a monitor for my gaming setup, especially since I have an RTX 5080. However, I'm feeling a bit lost when it comes to choosing between different types of panels like VA, IPS, and OLED. I know OLEDs are the top choice but they can be pretty pricey. Can anyone suggest which panel I should go for, and recommend some brands? Also, what exactly are mini LED and VA panels? I'm based in Indonesia, so my options are a bit limited.

Here's a quick rundown of panel types ranked from best to worst: Mini LED, OLED, IPS, and VA. If you're gaming with an RTX 5080, aim for a monitor with at least a 144 Hz refresh rate, but honestly, you might want to push for 165 Hz or even higher for peak performance. Aiming for a 1440p monitor with a 1 ms response time and an IPS panel would provide a smooth experience!

I agree, but if you're using a 5080, why settle for less than 240 Hz? You'll really want to take advantage of that power without any bottlenecks.

Hold on, are you saying mini LED is actually better than OLED?
