Hey everyone! I'm finally ready to upgrade to an RTX 5080, but I'm struggling to decide which model to go with. Here are the ones I'm considering:
- Palit RTX 5080 Gaming Pro - it's budget-friendly
- MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Ventus 3X OC Plus - also reasonably priced
- Gainward GeForce RTX 5080 Phoenix - another affordable option
- Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC - about $275 more than the others
- PNY GeForce RTX 5080 OC Triple Fan 16GB - fairly cheap
- ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 - costs $275 more than the cheaper options
What I'm really focused on are the **noise levels**, **coil whine**, and **thermal performance**. If anyone has hands-on experience or knows reliable reviews for any of these cards, I'd love to hear your recommendations based on those factors! Any experiences regarding case size, ambient temperatures, and fan speeds would be super helpful. Thanks! Oh, and should I consider the 9070 XT instead? 😀

Coil whine can be a bit of a lottery with these cards. All of them could potentially have it, so it's hard to predict.
From what I heard, the MSI model is one of the quietest out there. If you want detailed comparisons, Techpowerup has some noise level tests you might find useful. I ended up going with the 9070 XT since it was way cheaper where I live!

How's the 9070 XT working out for you?
