Hey everyone! I just learned that my motherboard has an NVMe M.2 port, which means I can install an SSD directly on it. However, I'm a little confused about what size I need for the mount bracket in my case, and I want to find an SSD that offers a decent amount of storage. I've attached some clear photos of the brackets I have. Thanks for the help in advance! (P.S. I also realized that NVMe M.2 drives go directly into the motherboard, not through a cable, so that's a relief!)

M.2 drives connect directly to your motherboard, so just make sure you know what motherboard you have. You'll also need a tiny mounting screw to secure the M.2 drive to the motherboard!
From your pictures, it looks like the brackets are for 2.5" SATA SSDs. If you're going for NVMe, they mount directly to the M.2 slot on the motherboard instead.
Thanks for clarifying that!
Yep, those brackets are meant for SATA SSDs. Remember that NVMe SSDs attach to the motherboard, not to the case. You're in the right direction though!
Thanks, I didn't know that. I guess I got a bit confused with this post.

I have an H510 H v2. I didn’t know that it plugs straight into the slot without needing a cable!
