Need Help Confirming My New PC Build Specs

Hey everyone! My old PC just kicked the bucket, so I'm diving into building a new one with a smaller form factor. I'm not very up-to-date with the latest components, and I could really use some help to verify a couple of things. First, does my selected list of parts look good overall? Secondly, is there enough clearance in my chosen case, as I've read online that there should be?

My last setup included a 9600k and a 1070, so I'm expecting quite an upgrade. I mostly play games like BF6 and Elite Dangerous at 1440p, and I don't plan to change that anytime soon. I also enjoy some simulation games like Arma and Stellaris, so I want to ensure that I'm not skimping on the CPU.

For this build, I'm planning to reuse my storage and fans. Price isn't a huge concern given the current market, but I do want to make my purchases soon to avoid further price hikes. Given that I've managed to hold on with a 1070 for a while, I'm hopeful this new setup will also give me some longevity to maybe upgrade the GPU later.

Looks like your budget is around $3,000 AUD, right? I think you might wanna swap to an air cooler and consider upgrading to the 9070 XT for better performance. Just a thought!

Yeah, it's close to that. I’m hesitant about the jump to a 5070ti, but I’ve been eyeing the 9070xt. My only worry about switching to air cooling is the temperature inside that compact case since I haven't built anything smaller than a full tower.

Overall, your build looks solid! If you switch to an air cooler, you can potentially upgrade to the 9800X3D, which could give you a bit more power. Plus, you could have some budget left to grab the 9070 XT or a motherboard that supports PCIe 5, which could help with future upgrades.

Is there really a big difference with PCIe 5.0? I guess I should think about future-proofing, and the same goes for the 9800X3D, right?
