Hey everyone, I could really use some guidance on how to create a database for someone who's not tech-savvy. I'm familiar with Microsoft Office, but I want to build a database with a customizable user interface for my clients. My goal is to find something affordable to develop a working concept before I approach potential investors.
I'm looking to collect basic information, like names and dates of birth for students (using a school as an analogy). The database should also allow me to group these students into classes and create a class timetable where I can review the classes. Plus, there needs to be an admin function for managing everything. I hope that clarifies what I'm after—any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Why are you the one building this database if you're not a developer? Seems like a big task for someone who's just starting out.
My advice? Hire a contractor. This is going to be complex and you won’t learn everything in a month, especially with all the different components involved.
That's exactly my concern! I’m really trying to do this on a super tight budget—hiring someone isn't an option right now.
Are you sure this is the right approach? It sounds more like a school project than an actual product. Can you clarify if this is meant to be a full database?
I understand why it might sound like that, but I assure you, it’s intended for a market gap I’ve identified. I need this to handle large amounts of data as I develop it!
I need to tackle this because I see a niche market in my country. I’m working on a tight budget with no funds to hire a developer yet, but I have potential investors and clients waiting. I just need a working concept first!
