Need Help Deciding on a GPU Upgrade for My Beginner Build

Hey everyone! A couple of months back, I picked up a budget PC for $75 from Facebook Marketplace, hoping to jump into gaming. It's been doing okay; I usually get 30-60 fps, but I'm hitting a wall now. I want to start streaming and play more demanding games, but my current setup struggles. Games like Genshin Impact only run on the lowest settings, and some games won't even launch because my GPU isn't compatible.

Here's where I'm stuck: should I invest in a new GPU now, or is it better to wait another six months? I have about $500 to spend. Also, if anyone has suggestions for affordable GPUs that would work well with my current specs, I'd really appreciate it. Just as a heads up, I'm still learning, so please go easy on me! Here are my specs:

- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
- Installed RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
- Storage: 2TB HDD
- Model: Inspiron 3847

Thanks in advance for your help!

You should definitely consider getting a dedicated GPU! The 2080 Ti is a solid choice if you can find it at a good price. Just keep an eye on your RAM, too—maxing that out could really help your performance. It's a mix of getting a decent graphics card and making sure your system is overall balanced.

Yeah, the pricing can be all over the place for those! Just make sure to compare options and check reviews before you buy. There might be slightly older models that fit your budget and still give you a great performance boost!
