Need Help Finalizing My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm about to make my first PC build and, after a lot of research, I've got a rough idea of what I want, but I still have a few questions. My goal is to build a system that will last a long time without any issues. I'm mainly going to be playing games like Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, Expedition 33, and some older RPGs like The Witcher. I'd also like to try Cyberpunk and play some lighter games like Hades and Cult of the Lamb. I don't play shooters or tactical games, so high FPS isn't my main concern. Here's my current build:

**CPU:** Ryzen R7 7800x3d
**GPU:** RTX 5070 (I'm curious if the 12GB VRAM will be a problem soon, as the price difference with the 5070 Ti is quite large—about 300 euros more for the Ti version. Is it worth the extra cash? Or can I save more and focus on a solid GPU?)
**CPU Cooler:** Thermalight Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit - should be sufficient, right? I'm also wondering if water cooling is worth the extra cost.
**Motherboard:** I was considering Asrock, but have read it's not great for the x3d CPUs. Now looking at MSI or Asus; do I need a B850 board, or would a B650 be good enough?
**RAM:** Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 or Kingston Fury Beast DDR5? Which one is better?
**SSD:** Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB (I know some people say Samsung is expensive, but I've been told it's reliable. Any alternatives you'd recommend?)
**Power Supply:** Corsair RM850e 850W 80+ Gold—should I save money with a 750W instead?
**Case:** Considering an NZXT H6 Flow for looks, but are there cheaper options that still have good airflow?
**Fans:** Arctic P12 Max or something from Asiahorse for aesthetics? How many fans would I need for a good setup?

I plan on gaming at 2K, and I'm not looking to invest in 4K right now. If you have any recommendations for a monitor that offers a better refresh rate without breaking the bank, I'd appreciate it!
Also, I'm only looking at Nvidia GPUs, as I've heard some stories about AMD overheating issues. Is it worth spending an extra 300 euros on the Ti version for the games I'm planning to play, or can I be comfortable with the standard 5070? Thanks for any advice!

Hey! If you're mostly playing games like Baldur's Gate 3 and older RPGs, the 12GB VRAM on the RTX 5070 should be sufficient for now. Sure, the Ti version is better, but if it's pushing your budget, you might still enjoy plenty of games at good settings with the 5070. I'd suggest putting the extra cash into a solid motherboard and PSU since those can impact your build's longevity more than the extra VRAM.

Yeah, I agree! The CPU cooler you chose is good. For the GPU, if you’re not planning on modding your games heavily, 8-12GB is usually fine. Keep an eye on cooler options—better thermal management can save you headaches down the line.

Water cooling can look cool, but honestly, a good air cooler is often enough, especially for builds not heavily overclocked. The Thermalright PA120 is a reputable choice. As for the motherboard, unless you need advanced features, a B650 board should perform just fine for your needs appropriately!

Honestly, you can save on the PSU with 750W, especially if you're not heavily overclocking. As for the SSD, I’d recommend looking into alternatives like the Goodram PX700 or Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, which are also solid but cheaper. Don't forget, RAM at 6000 MT/s is generally a good choice for performance!

Yeah, you probably don’t need the most expensive SSD. There's great value out there. Also, for the case, I'd look into Corsair 4000D; it’s got great airflow and looks good without being too pricey.
