I'm currently in a bachelor's program and want to build a PC that will last me through the next three years. It needs to handle all the latest games for that period, but after that, I'm passing it on to my younger brother who isn't into gaming as much, so I don't need to worry about future-proofing too much. I'm on a strict budget and looking at several options: for NVIDIA, I'm considering the 2080 Ti (which I'm leaning towards), the 3060 (great with its 12GB of VRAM), and the 5060 (the latest model with cool features, but I'm uncertain about its VRAM limitations). Alternatively, the Intel Arc B580 sounds tempting as it has good VRAM and decent performance, possibly better than the 3060. On the AMD side, I'm contemplating the 7600 as it's the cheapest option, and the RX 9060, though it's pricier, so it's at the bottom of my list. Can anyone help me choose the best one?

The Intel Arc B580 is a solid choice! It offers good performance and enough VRAM for your needs without breaking the bank. People seem to like its capabilities compared to the others in your list, especially if you’re more focused on getting value for gaming rather than chasing the latest features.
I'd say go for the 2080 Ti if you can find it at a good price. Sure, it's an older model, but it still holds up well for gaming. Just keep in mind that since it's been around a while, you might encounter some issues as it ages. But if it handles games well for your needs now, it could be worth it!

Thanks for the input! That's a good point about the age of the 2080 Ti. I'm definitely weighing the pros and cons.
