Hey everyone, I just upgraded my setup by switching to a Ryzen 7 CPU. I took off my fan to install it, but now I'm struggling to put the fan back on. I've tried applying pressure, but it just won't attach. I'm not even sure what a backplate is or how it fits into all this. Can anyone help me out? I really need some advice quickly!

Make sure to remove the cover on the back of your PC. You should see some little legs or pins that need to go through the motherboard holes. Once you've done that, you can screw the fan into those! It's tricky, but it should work if you get everything aligned right.
Hey! Can you tell me what motherboard and CPU cooler you're using? It'll help others diagnose the issue better.
Are there any images you can share? Sometimes it's easier to troubleshoot with a visual. But if you can't post images here, maybe try to describe what you're seeing.
