Hey everyone,
I'm really in a bind here. My father's Google account was hacked, and from there, the hacker managed to get into his phone as well. They even added a PIN, so we're completely locked out of changing the Google password. We tried turning off the phone and wiping its data, but when we contacted Google for recovery, they said to expect an email in 48 hours. The problem is, the hacker still has access to that email, which makes it super risky. Any advice on what we can do in this situation?

Honestly, if you can’t recover the account through the usual methods, it might be worth looking into getting a new email address altogether. It sounds like you might need to start fresh to ensure security in the long run.
You should try to change your Google password from a different device if possible. Just make sure you don’t use the hacked phone. Also, check if you have recovery options set up that don't rely on that email or phone number. If the hacker changed your recovery phone and email, it might be tricky, but it's worth looking into.
Maybe try contacting Google support directly for help? They might be able to assist you further if you explain the situation.

We are trying to do that but Google insists on sending a notification to the hacked phone. Plus, the hacker has already messed with the recovery options, so we're really stuck. Any other ideas?
