Hi everyone! I'm trying to register a domain for Amazon WorkMail, but I keep running into this error: 'We can't finish registering your domain. Contact AWS Support for further information.' I'm new to both AWS and the platform, and I'm just wondering what might be causing this issue. Could it be related to my region, billing settings, account roles, or the fact that my account is pretty new? I've submitted a support ticket, but it feels like I'm being prioritized really low. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This might sound odd, but for very new accounts, launching a free-tier EC2 instance, waiting a bit, and then terminating it may help. I’ve noticed that it triggers some validation processes, and I've added it as a step in my workflow for new accounts. Plus, double-check that your domain contact information doesn't have any special characters—those can also cause issues with the registration.
I faced a similar issue once due to special characters in my contact info. Make sure you check that out! Keeping it simple usually helps with those kinds of problems.
Hey there! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your domain registration. If you have a case ID regarding the issue, feel free to send it to me directly, and I can help you look into it further. Also, check if your contact information has any special characters; that can sometimes throw a wrench in the process.

Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately, I can't PM you here. Do you have a different way for me to share the case ID?
