I'm diving into my first serious PC build and could really use your advice before I make any purchases. I'm a bit new to this, so I want to ensure that I haven't made any major mistakes with the components I've chosen or see if there are areas where I can save some cash. My goal is to achieve 1440p gaming. Here's the list of parts I'm considering:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 6C/12T, 3.9-5.4GHz, 38MB, 65W, AM5 (€212)
- **CPU Cooler:** Hyper 212 Halo AGB white (€47)
- **GPU:** NVIDIA Inno3D GeForce RTX 5070 Ti X3 OC WHITE 16 GB GDDR7 (€945)
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE (€219)
- **RAM:** Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 6400MHz CL32 XMP3 (€679)
- **SSD:** Crucial P310 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe (€148)
- **PSU:** GIGABYTE AORUS ELITE P1000W 80 PLUS Platinum (€165)
- **Case:** NZXT H9 Flow Tower White 2025 (€157)

I'm eager to hear any tips or insights you might have about this setup!

Buying RAM now is definitely not ideal; prices are quite high. If you wait for a better deal or look into alternatives, you could save a lot. Plus, most games won't even use 64GB yet, so 32GB should be sufficient for gaming unless you plan to do some heavy multitasking or specific tasks that require it.

Totally agree! I’d suggest keeping an eye on sales as it may drop soon. It's a hassle, but it can be worth the wait.

First off, what's your budget looking like? I see you've already surpassed €2000 with these components. You might want to reconsider some parts to save costs, especially the RAM. For gaming, 32GB is typically enough, even for future-proofing your setup.

Also, I think RAM prices are pretty high right now. Do you really need 64GB at this moment? Consider going for 32GB to make it fit your budget.

Since you're asking about the country, are you based in Lithuania? If so, consider local prices and availability, as they can vary a lot. And just a note, unless you're doing something super demanding, you should be fine with 32GB for gaming.

Yeah, it's common to see 64GB recommended for new games, but 32GB is still pretty safe for the near future. It might be a better move to optimize your budget there.
