Hey everyone! I'm really new to Linux and I'm trying to set up Asterisk for scambaiting and number spoofing. I'm using Ubuntu 24 and following various tutorials, but something always seems to go wrong. Despite following all the steps, I keep running into random errors, and I've spent over five hours on this with no success. I previously used BobRTC for scambaiting, but since it shut down, I'm really hoping to get this working. If anyone has tips or can help me troubleshoot, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for your response! I think my issues started when I tried to run the update command—got an error about it not existing right from the start. Then, I struggled with modifying certain files, not really sure how to do that, given my lack of Linux experience.
