Need Help Setting Up My Commission Website

I'm trying to create a website for my commissions and I've got quite a few questions. I took a coding class for about four months last year, where I learned some basics of JavaScript, but most of it was about design using Canva. Here are my questions:

1: Should I commission someone to build my site or should I try to build it myself?

2: How do I set it up so that it functions as a store?

3: What do I need to do once I purchase a domain?

4: What are some good tools or websites for coding?

I'm thinking of a layout similar to gatorwavesuits.com, which is a furry website, but it doesn't have anything inappropriate.

1: If you're on a tight deadline, go for commissioning someone. If you want to learn, building it yourself is a solid choice.
2: Platforms like Shopify or Squarespace really simplify the store setup process.
3: Once you get a domain, link it to your hosting provider—most of these platforms will guide you through that.
4: For coding, VSCode is my top pick, but Wix or Webflow offer easier, more visual building options if you're not looking to dive deep into coding.

Thanks, I mentioned the furry site because I'm looking for a similar layout.

For setting up your site, using a white label solution like WooCommerce or Shopify can be a game-changer. Most of the hard development work is already handled, so you just have to focus on the setup and configuration.
