Need Help Switching Back to Windows from Linux – Hard Drive Not Detected!

Hey everyone! I was using Linux Mint for a while but decided to switch back to Windows. I've got the Windows 11 ISO ready, and I've put it on my Ventoy USB drive. However, when I try to install it, my internal hard drive isn't showing up during the drive scan. I've tried a few things: I downloaded the System Rescue iso, launched Gparted, and attempted to change the filesystem to NTFS and ExFAT, but nothing worked. I even deleted all partitions, leaving it unallocated, but still no luck. I'm really at a loss here and would appreciate any advice as I'd rather not end up with a $1000 paperweight! For reference, I have an RTX 3050 Ti and my laptop model is ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603HE_GU603HE.

It sounds like the issue might be related to VMD settings in your BIOS. Try searching for VMD in forums for some guidance. Also, consider disabling it in your BIOS setup. This often resolves detection issues during installation.

How do I disable the VMD? Can you give me a step-by-step?
