Need Help Troubleshooting My Server PC Build

I'm putting together a second PC to use as a game server for my friends and I, but I'm facing a strange issue I've never dealt with before. Here's a breakdown of my parts:

- Case: Ncore 100 Air (new)
- PSU: Lian Li SP750 (new)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte A520I AC (new)
- RAM: 2 x 16GB Gskill sticks (these are spare but confirmed working in my main PC)
- CPU: AMD 5600x (spare, previously used before I upgraded to 5800x3D)
- Cooler: AMD Wraith cooler (this is just for basic operation since it's a server)

I checked the CPU and confirmed there are no broken pins. I reconnected all connectors, including the power and case connectors. When I hit the power button on the case, nothing happens—no response at all. However, when I plug in my micro LCD panel, it powers on but says 'no signal.'

I even tried using a flathead screwdriver to jump the motherboard off the F panel power connectors, but no luck. I made sure the PSU switch is correctly oriented to supply power. I realized I probably need a video card, so I ordered an RX580, which won't arrive until later today. I also bought a power supply tester that's coming tomorrow.

I've done plenty of ATX builds for others and myself, but this is my first ITX setup. I'm not too familiar with troubleshooting power supplies or figuring out if the motherboard is faulty. Any advice would be appreciated! Am I stuck here?

I also ran into issues connecting the F panel connectors. I accidentally connected them incorrectly once, and it caused weird issues. My fans did spin when I first built it, but after sealing everything up, hitting power did nothing. If you try testing it outside of the case, check if it was a short circuit caused by the case itself.

Yeah, I’ll try that. The documentation was really unclear. Do you think the standoffs could cause a problem?

It might be worth trying to test the motherboard outside the case. Set it up with just the essentials: motherboard, CPU, cooler, and the ATX power cables. You shouldn't need a GPU to power it on just to see if it posts.
