Need Help Upgrading My PC After 8 Years!

Hey everyone! I'm diving back into PC building after about 8 years and could really use some advice. Currently, I'm using an Intel 8600k and a GTX 1070ti. I've picked out some parts I'm considering, but I'm flexible on them. I've already ordered the motherboard from Amazon, but I can easily return it if necessary. Here's my build list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CP6vcx. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just a heads up, you might want to rethink the AIO cooler. They can be quite pricey and may not be necessary for your setup.

Are AIOs out of fashion now? They were all the rage when I last built mine.

Your build looks pretty solid! However, if you're not fully set on the 5070, consider the RX 9070XT. It tends to offer better performance, but there are some discussions around driver issues with the new 50 series GPUs.

The 9070XT offers much more than just a slight performance boost, but it’s priced higher. It's a direct competitor to the 5070 while performing slightly better, although it’s currently overpriced.

I’m not sure yet. With prices being what they are, I’m actually thinking about just sticking with my 1070ti for now.

You can save quite a bit on the cooling system. For storage, there's definitely a decent 2TB SSD out there for around $120 that won't sacrifice gaming performance (like the WD SN770). Also, you could find a nice case for about $70 less. With all the savings, you might want to invest in the 5070 ti for a nice performance upgrade or consider getting a better monitor. Just a thought—if aesthetics matter to you this time around, I totally get it.

You’re right! I didn't care much about looks last time, but this time I’m feeling like I want it to look nicer.

Have you considered upgrading your RAM to a CL30 kit? It could provide better performance for your build.
