Need Help With My First PC Build!

I've been wanting to build my own PC for a couple of years, but I never had the funds until now. After a lot of research this past year, I've put together a build that fits my budget of around $1600 CAD. Here's what I've chosen:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
- **CPU Cooler**: DeepCool AK400 Black Edition
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB
- **GPU**: Sapphire PULSE RX 7800 XT 16GB
- **Case**: Phanteks Eclipse G360A Black
- **PSU**: Corsair RM750e

I'm planning to use this PC mainly for playing FPS games at 240fps, like Fortnite, Rainbow Six, and Counter-Strike. I also have a YouTube channel with a few thousand subs, and I currently use my laptop with CapCut to edit 9-minute videos, so I'd like this PC to handle that as well.

One thing I'm not sure about is whether I need additional fans for exhaust or intake since I'm a total newbie at building PCs. Any advice would be appreciated!

That’s awesome that you’re starting to build your own PC! Your components are pretty future-proof for gaming and YouTube editing. Just make sure you have the right cooling setup, especially with that CPU. More airflow is usually better, so adding a couple of case fans won't hurt. Also, keep an eye on how well the cooling system works when you get everything set up!

I appreciate the tips! I’ll definitely look into adding some fans to keep things cool.

Your build looks solid for gaming and video editing! The Ryzen 7 7700X paired with the RX 7800 XT should give you great performance in both areas. As for fans, the Phanteks Eclipse G360A typically comes with fans already, but it’s always good to have at least one or two extra for optimal airflow. This will help keep your components cool, especially during gaming sessions. Don't forget to monitor your temperatures once you build it!

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll consider getting some extra fans just to be safe.
