Hey everyone! I'm having some serious freezing issues with my PC, especially when gaming. I have a pretty solid setup: a Radeon RX 6700 XT, Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, and 64GB of RAM. The problem is that my screen goes white and freezes, and the only way to get it back is to restart by holding the power button. This happens randomly while gaming, and it seems worse when I try to multitask with things like Discord and YouTube on my three monitors. I've replaced the PSU, reinstalled Windows and graphics drivers, and even ran memtest86—everything came back fine. The temps look normal when it crashes too. I'm out of ideas on what to try next without replacing the CPU or GPU. I'm starting to think about upgrading the CPU—should I go for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Ryzen 9 9900X, or something else? Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already! Have you tried rolling back your display drivers using DDU? Also, resetting your BIOS to default settings and avoiding XMP/EXPO memory profiles might help. To me, this looks more like a GPU issue rather than the CPU. Have you considered testing your GPU in another system or trying a different GPU in yours?
Thanks for the tips! I haven't tried older drivers yet, but I can give that a shot. I did reset the BIOS and reinstall Windows, but I'm not too familiar with XMP/EXPO settings. If I decide to upgrade the CPU, it looks like I might need a new AM5 motherboard too, which could stretch my budget. Any recommendations for AM5 boards?
