Need Help with Random PC Crashes After Upgrading RAM

I recently upgraded my Lenovo LOQ15 ARP9 gaming laptop by replacing the DDR5 8x2 RAM with DDR5 16x2 RAM. Ever since the upgrade, my laptop crashes about once or twice daily, primarily when I'm not actively using it. Interestingly, it stays stable while I'm gaming or running tasks, but if I leave it idle, it crashes with a message that looks like Kernel Mode Heap Corruption. I'm not sure what that means and I could use some guidance. I've been trying to analyze crash dumps using WinDbg, but I can't even view them due to admin errors. I've attempted to share the minidumps with friends, but they can't open them either. Should I revert to my old 16GB RAM? Is the new RAM at fault? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you still face crashes after checking the RAM, try rolling back to your previous 16GB setup and see if that stabilizes things. If it does, then the new RAM might be incompatible or faulty.

First off, try creating a bootable USB with Memtest86 and run that to check if there are issues with your RAM. Just enter BIOS and set the USB as the first boot device, then save and exit. It should help you figure out if the new RAM is causing the problems.

If you're running into admin errors with WinDbg, make sure you're opening it as an administrator. You might also want to check if your RAM is seated properly in the slots. Sometimes a loose connection can cause weird crashes.
