Hey everyone! I'm hoping for some help with my HP Pavilion dv9700 laptop, which originally came with Windows Vista Home. I've been searching for a recovery disk for this model, but I've had no luck finding a proper ISO that works. I tried using CDBurnerXP to burn some ISOs I found online, but each time I either got an error message (none in English, unfortunately) or the system blue screened after attempting an install.
I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a working ISO and how to burn it correctly, or if someone has the original recovery disk they could dump for me—it's a long shot, I know! Alternatively, if you have any troubleshooting tips for the blue screen issue, I'd appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!

You might want to check out the HP Pavilion dv9000 series page on Wikipedia. It lists compatible model numbers, and you can use that info to find a compatible Windows Vista recovery ISO. Just make sure to burn the ISO onto a DVD properly. The Microsoft website is also a good place to look for ISOs if you haven't tried there yet!

Oh, thank you! I'll check that out.
