Need Tips for My First PC Build on a Budget

I'm putting together my first PC mainly for gaming purposes. I plan on playing games like Valorant and Roblox, and I'll also use it for Discord, watching Twitch, and YouTube. Since I'm a minor without a job, I'm aiming for something that isn't too pricey. I've got some parts already checked off that I can't change, and I'm specifically looking for suggestions on what monitor, mouse, and keyboard to get. Here are the parts I have so far: a 6600 XT, Intel Core i5 12400, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. I've also got an ASUS Z790-P WiFi D4 motherboard and a Musetex TW8 case, plus an EVGA 600W power supply. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I thought the checkmark meant you were going with that 1 TB SSD only! If you're looking to save, the Intel i3-12100 is a good option—decent for 720p gaming and budget-friendly. With some savings, you might snag a solid GPU for under $100 if you look around.

I initially thought I was being frugal with the 12100, but maybe I should upgrade it then.

For a gaming monitor, aim for a 1080p IPS screen with the highest refresh rate you can find—a 240Hz would be perfect if you're serious about competitive gaming. For mice, the Logitech G502 is a great pick, often around $30 on sale. As for keyboards, look into brands like SteelSeries, MSI, or HyperX, which have solid ones for under $50.

Thanks for the suggestions! Should I consider swapping my GPU for something different?

If you're on a tight budget, check with friends to see if anyone has extra parts they might sell or give away. You could find a really good deal on a GPU from someone you know. Alternatively, consider getting an APU like the 8700G, which doesn't require a dedicated GPU and can handle your game needs until you can upgrade later.

Yeah, but remember, you have an Intel motherboard, so you'll need to stick to Intel CPUs. Just keep that in mind!
