I built or bought this PC about two months ago, and it works normally for everyday use, but it occasionally crashes or reboots while gaming. The problem is inconsistent and has happened in World of Warcraft, Dead Space, and Split Fiction. Sometimes I also have a movie or football match playing on my second monitor, although the crashes can happen when I am not doing anything unusual. CPU and GPU temperatures appear normal, and Windows, drivers, and other software are up to date. The system uses a Ryzen 5 7500F, RTX 5070, 32GB of Kingston DDR5-6000 memory, a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, a Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD, an 850W Gold-rated SilverStone power supply, and Windows 11. What would be the best way to diagnose the cause?

Check Event Viewer around the time of the crash and look for errors under Windows Logs > System. A message saying the system rebooted without cleanly shutting down is usually just a Kernel-Power notification—it confirms the shutdown was unexpected, but it does not identify the actual cause. You may need to check for hardware instability, memory errors, graphics-driver crashes, or power-related issues before and after that entry.
