New Motherboard Won’t Power On – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I just installed a new motherboard and everything seems to be in its place, using my old PC parts which are all operational. However, when I hit the power button, nothing happens. The LED light on the motherboard lights up when I switch on the PSU, but the system doesn't boot. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, like shorting the power button with a screwdriver, resetting the CMOS, and reconnecting all components, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to get it started? Thanks a ton!

Are you sure you’re connected to the right display output? Once, I had the same issue where I was plugged into the motherboard’s HDMI instead of my GPU’s HDMI. Make sure your monitor is connected to the graphics card if your CPU doesn’t have integrated graphics. Also, check your motherboard manual for any differences in power header setups.

Yeah, I pressed the power button, but the system doesn't respond at all.

Have you made sure that the RAM is seated properly? Sometimes, if the memory sticks aren’t fully pushed in, it can stop the system from booting up.

Yep, I double-checked the RAM sticks, and they seem secure.

It sounds like you might have forgotten to connect the CPU power plug (the 4/6/8 pin connector) from the PSU to the motherboard. That can often be the culprit when a system won’t turn on.

I checked all the connections, and it’s definitely plugged in.
