New PC Won’t Output Video from HDMI – Need Help!

I just got a new PC setup but I'm running into an issue where I'm not getting any display on my monitor when I connect it via HDMI. The power button light flickers red when I plug it in, and though the fans are running, I can't tell if the PC is fully powered on. When I press the power button again, it shuts down, but it seems to enter sleep mode when I press it again to turn it back on. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8400
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
- RAM: 32GB DDR4
- Storage: 128GB SSD + 2TB HDD
- Motherboard: ASRock Z390 Pro4
- Power Supply: Corsair CX600M
- Case: Thermaltake V200 Tempered Glass
- Cooling: Thermaltake UX200 CPU cooler + 4 Arctic P12 fans
- OS: Windows 11 Pro installed and activated.

Be sure you're connecting your monitor cable to the GPU and not the motherboard's HDMI port. It's a common mistake if you're not familiar with the setup!

Just a heads up, a 9-year-old CPU paired with a 5-year-old GPU isn't exactly 'new.' Depending on where you bought it, you might want to check if something became dislodged during transport. Did you get it from Facebook Marketplace? That's usually a gamble!

First off, make sure everything is plugged in properly. Check for any lights on the motherboard that could indicate a part failure. Sometimes missing connections can cause an issue like this.
