PC Won’t Boot After Enabling AMD Expo, Help!

I have a system with a single stick of DDR5 16GB running at 5600 MHz, paired with a Ryzen 9600X on a Gigabyte B850 motherboard. I recently enabled AMD Expo using the Ryzen Master software, which increased my RAM speed to 5600 MHz. After the restart, my PC now fails to boot past the BIOS. It continuously cycles between turning on and off, briefly showing the BIOS screen. I haven't made any hardware changes since everything was working well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'll update if I manage to get it to boot again.

Interesting that you set EXPO with Ryzen Master. Do you know if your RAM actually supports EXPO? Sometimes it’s possible to enable it on memory that isn’t compatible, which could cause issues.

The RAM kit is labeled as AMD Expo ready, and it was actually selectable in the Ryzen Master app.

The Ryzen 9600X should handle 5600 MT/s fine. It might be that EXPO isn't adjusting the RAM voltages properly. Check your RAM voltages and try setting them manually in the BIOS.

I figured it out! I switched to enabling EXPO directly in the BIOS instead of using Ryzen Master, and it solved the booting issue. Appreciate the help!

Try clearing the CMOS on your motherboard. It often helps reset any unwanted settings and might get your system to boot again.

I cleared the CMOS but now I just see the red boot light on the motherboard. What should I do next?
