Our company is expanding its operations and will be hiring remote workers in Mexico, Canada, and the Philippines over the next year. HR is advocating for using Rippling for our onboarding and app provisioning process, claiming that it can replace multiple tools like Jamf, Okta, and some manual Google Workspace scripts. I'm curious if anyone has experience with Rippling. Does it truly deprovision accounts for Google and Slack automatically when an employee leaves, or will that still require manual intervention, especially for international hires?

I've been using Rippling for over a year, and it has been stable for us with no major issues. It's really streamlined our processes.
Yes, I’ve tried Rippling. While it's more focused on HR functions rather than IT, it does the job. Just be aware they're pretty costly if you aren't already using their HR system. Consider checking out Primo as an alternative; they offer MDM and SaaS provisioning that integrates with various HR systems, including Google Workspace.
We utilize Rippling for device provisioning across three countries. It does indeed remove access to Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion automatically once someone is terminated, but you do have to set up each app manually at first. After that, it feels like magic!
As a user of Rippling, I find that the MDM does take a bit of time to connect and update, but the onboarding and offboarding features are fantastic. It really saves me a lot of time.

I heard about Primo too, and it might be a good option. It seems to be more cost-effective and still gets the job done.
