Hey everyone! I've been having some issues with my PC randomly restarting after I upgraded to a new GPU, the 5080FE. It started happening right after the upgrade. I checked the Event Viewer, and it shows Kernel 41, which indicates a loss of power. I'm worried it might be my power supply, which is an RMX850 and about two years old. Is there anything else I should check, or do you think it's definitely my PSU? Any help would be appreciated!

850W should be more than enough for your 5080, and two years isn't too old for a PSU either. I’ve got a PSU that’s over ten years old and still going strong! As for Kernel 41, it doesn't always mean a power loss; it's more like an improper shutdown. Did you reinstall your drivers? Also, check if you're overclocking or undervolting your system.
Gotcha! It might be worth looking at your driver situation again or any potential conflicts there.
I ran a program called WhoCrashed, and it showed some errors. It looks like my system isn't set for complete crash dumps, which might help diagnose better. The analysis pointed to a software problem, likely due to a buggy driver causing a bad pool request. You might want to check your drivers to see if that’s the culprit!
So, could it be safe to say it's likely a driver issue then?
You should keep in mind that the 5080FE needs a special 12-pin connector. How are you powering it up with that RM850? Just checking if you've got the cables sorted out!
Yeah, I have the PCIe 5.0 12V-2x6 cable connected. Just wanted to make sure everything was set up right.
I did update to the latest BIOS, and I set up XMP, but I've reinstalled Windows 11 twice and I'm still having these restarts. My temps are fine though.
