Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new PC and I need some advice on choosing a motherboard. Here are my current components: [PC Build Link](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/YFPxXR). I'm specifically looking for a motherboard that supports PCIe 5.0, has at least two M.2 slots, and offers solid onboard sound, ideally something like ALC 1200 or 1220. I've already compiled a list of potential motherboards that I'm considering: [Motherboards List](https://pastebin.com/jByt8X5Z). If you have any personal experiences with these or other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Any feedback on other parts would also be great! Thanks and have an awesome weekend!

You might want to check out a B850 motherboard from brands like Gigabyte or MSI, but I'd skip ASRock and Asus for this build.
I've just heard some mixed reviews regarding their quality control lately.
Hey! Just a heads-up, I'd avoid ASRock motherboards as there have been reports of them damaging AM5 CPUs. Better to play it safe!
If you're looking for options, check out this comparison link: [Motherboards Comparison](https://geizhals.de/?cat=mainboards&xf=2832_GIGABYTE~2832_MSI~2833_AMD%20AM5~2872_ab%201~4694_ALC1200~4694_ALC1220~4694_ALC1220P). It lists some good choices that fit your criteria!

What's the issue with Asus, though?
