I'm on the hunt for a reliable standing desk that can handle the demands of a sysadmin setup. This includes multiple monitors, a docking station, a mechanical keyboard, and a plethora of cables. Plus, I often have hardware projects sprawled across my workspace. I'm looking for something that smoothly raises and lowers without wobbling, supports a hefty load, and is built to last through daily use. It would be a bonus if there was enough space underneath for storage or effective cable management. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I personally have the Jarvis desk from Fully (pre-Herman Miller days) and I absolutely love it. Tons of options and plenty of space. I’ve got monitor stands and a desktop PC holder which keeps my setup organized for everything from keyboards to other random stuff. Plus, I got a balance board to stand on, which has been great!
I highly recommend checking out Flexispot desks. They can easily support what you're describing as a 'sysadmin workload.' Generally, any standard office setup would work on them. Just keep in mind that the sturdier the desk, the more you might have to spend.
Uplift desks are fantastic, though they can be a bit pricey. They offer high quality and durability, making them worth the investment for serious setups.
That sounds awesome! I was considering getting a balance board too. Do you think it helps with comfort while working?
