Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5070 and the RX 9070 XT. They both cost the same in my area, which is 879 AUD, but I'm a bit torn on which one to go for. I'll be using either of these GPUs with a 240Hz 1440p OLED monitor, so I'd love some advice on which one would give me the best performance, especially for gaming. Any thoughts?

If you’re focusing solely on gaming, I’d say go for the RX 9070 XT. It's known to perform better in most games without any significant hiccups.

Honestly, the RX 9070 XT takes the cake here. The RTX's DLSS and better ray tracing just can’t compete with the raw performance of the 9070 XT, especially since you mentioned gaming is your main priority.

I would lean towards the RTX 5070 if you’re considering ray tracing and rendering, as it offers better performance in those areas. Plus, it has better support for features like DLSS 3 which can enhance your gaming experience.

But keep in mind, DLSS features aren't significantly better on the 5070 in most scenarios and the 9070 XT has been pricier for a while. Why risk it just for a few DLSS games?
